I go every year to Taizé, a tiny village in France of 5 houses. There, on the top of a hill, is a large Christian oecomenic Center, where (especially young) people from all over Europe come together. To share experiences, to discuss questions of life, sing, pray, eat and experience silence.

In the morning there are also discussion groups for parents of children. And during those discussion groups, I care for the children.

At the end of a walk with the children through the beautiful hills, a 5 year old girl asks me: "did you see that beautiful blue flowers in the bend of the road?" When I said not to have seen them, she looked up to me and said, "you still need to learn a lot".

Poof ... That was a hammer, that entered my being. I knew she was right.
On the walk that I had forgotten, what it was all about: being-in-the-moment and being-full-of-wonder...
